Holy mary mother of god.
I just found out that I won first prize in a photography competition for a national aussie magazine called Digital Photography + Design.
I remember sending in an entry for the "Street photography" theme around two months ago, but forgot about it. Like I said in the past, I keep shooting arrows in the dark...just in case one hits something.
This one arrow hit one hell of a great target. I sent in the Birdlady photo taken with my old Canon 350D. Once again, the Birdlady has proven itself to be a great subject.
The magazine said I won a Sony alpha 200 digital SLR with twin lens kit worth AU$1,200. I just bought the Canon 40D a couple of months ago but hey, I can always use another body especially if I'm going to be doing weddings and more sessions in the future.
